Who would have know Saskatchewan could be so much fun
I’ve been hunting waterfowl on the South Coast of BC for 20 years. I would recommend Prairie Sky Outfitter if you are looking for a great experience. I’m already itching to go back again. Some of the best Waterfowl Hunting I’ve had a chance of being part of.
Staff was more than accommodating. Guide was outstanding. Food was likes moms home style cooking. We had 5 memorable shoots, The team managed to get us a shoot on Cranes that was over in less than 20 min. The hunts were a mixed bag of all the different species- White geese, Dark geese, Ducks and Cranes. We all shot our fair share.
For early in the season with not a big number of birds in the area the scouts managed to get us on great shoots morning and night.The dog was well mannered and never broke early once. The accommodation were clean and comfortable. Equipment was clean and up to date. They had some of the best decoys to be had and used them to the best of there ability.
I can’t wait to return and do it again.

My friend and I just got back home after an epic snow goose hunt in Saskatchewan with Prairie Sky.
I looked at a number of Saskatchewan outfitters before selecting Prairie Sky, and they did not disappoint.
Every aspect of the hunting experience was well managed by Chad and his people. The lodge itself is very nice, the food was fantastic and very detail with respect to the hunt gave you the impression that the guys really cared about you going home with a positive perspective.
The Prairie Sky group is very knowledgable of the local area and their relationship with the local farming community get you access to hunting locations that other outfitters cannot.
The infield guides are exceptional and safety is number one.
We limited out all three days of the hunt and we experienced a spring snow goose migration that one can only dream about.
If you are looking for a hunting experience that you will remember of the rest of your life, give Prairie Sky a call and they will look after the rest.
Prairie Sky Outfitters is absolutely a first class operation. The guides work around the clock to put your group on the best shoot possible. The gear is all top notch and they make it easy for their clients. They were very appreciative for the help setting up and picking up at the end of the hunt, but never asked us to do anything other than have a good time. We chose the all inclusive package and it was worth every penny. The airport pick up is awesome, licenses and ammo waiting at the lodge, makes things very easy. The lodge is very comfortable and the food is wonderful.
I have been fortunate enough to hunt in Texas and Arkansas for snow geese, let me tell you Saskatchewan is the place to go and hunt, and I can’t imagine a better crew than PSO. After making memories that will no doubt last a lifetime, we will coming back. Thank you Chad, Tyler, Cam and Murray. All you guys went above and beyond for us and I truly appreciate your effort.

This was the second great year in a row and i think I’ll go for a third next year. From the time we landed in Saskatoon and picked up at the airport we were totally looked after, right down to permits, shells and a gun. Using a semi auto of theirs saved us great hassles at the airports and customs. Another bonus was that they took care of cleaning the birds, and when you have shot over one hundred birds that becomes important. The blinds are comfortable, the calling ( Tyler ) was excellent, he can really turn them around. It is a treat to watch. We shot our limit on every shoot. I can’t do that in Ontario.
The accommodation is very comfortable. The bedding includes flannel sheets which are very pleasant on a cold night. And the food; Spectacular is all I can say. It is the only hunt camp that I have been to that serves prime rib roast beef and BBQ spare ribs. We were there over Thanksgiving weekend and they provided a complete thanksgiving dinner for us as well.
Would I recommend Prairie sky? Hell yes.
Prairie Sky Outfitters are top notch! The team of Chad, Tyler, Cam and Murray give it their all to insure a memorable experience. They are very accommodating and personable. With safety at the forefront, they understand waterfowl and waterfowl hunters and what makes them tick. I can’t imagine any better accommodations and the meals are phenomenal!
